Smashing Win But Its Only Round 5 Bombers

This Essendon team is the best, let me rephrase that playing the best combination of attack and defense that I've seen for year's and with Fletcher, Hurley and Ryder to come back in, Joe Daniher to debut thing's look rosy on field, the latest development's off field are troubling but it's almost like the off field drug crap going on has galvanized the group, being a massive Bombers fan I'm not booking any finals tickets yet especially after last year when after 9 matches we were 8 wins and one loss by a solitary point on ANZAC Day we capitulated to miss the finals, but this team looks and play's different.
Jake Carlisle's improvement at full back is stunning, Michael Hibberd off half back the midfield depth all of a sudden look's impressive not just with Brendon Goddard coming from the Saints but player's like Howlett, Heppell, Myers all greatly improved Zaharakis and Winderlich fit again and a forward line that has great variety Hurley, Crameri, Davey, Gumbleton and usually a resting ruckman.
But now the blow torch on the Pies. Are they just struggling because of a raft of missing regular's such as Jolly, Beams, Ball, Didak, Maxwell no doubt but to me the forward line looks a massive problem. If and that is a big if you can limit Cloke's influence the cupboard look's a bit bare to me that being said Fasolo, Elliott, Thomas, Didak and others are capable but has the Pies Premiership Window as they say closed? Only time will tell.
