Bombers Kicking Goals Already With Appointment Of Lloyd

With the fate of numerous current player's still up in the air the Bomber's have further strengthened and stabilized their coaching rank's with the appointment of former full forward Matthew Lloyd joining the team as a goal kicking coach. This allow's him to continue his growing TV and radio commitment's whilst helping his former club.
Lloyd's C.V is impeccable a 3-time Coleman Medalist All-Australian, premiership player he finished his career with over 900 goal's with a conversion rate of 69% which is second only to Tony Lockett.
Since being season 2014 has finished Essendon has been busy shoring up the coaching department with appointment's of Lloyd, former Melbourne senior coach Mark Neeld, former Fremantle coach and Essendon premiership player Mark Harvey. The player list acquired former Saint James Gwilt who has been playing out of position at St.Kilda as full back, now at Essendon he will not have to fill a key defensive post with All-australian Cale Hooker, Michael Hurley, Dustin Fletcher and Jake Carlisle to take opposition big forwards he should slot into a back pocket or half back role and do very well I think. Adam Cooney is an interesting choice,  his knee issues still hamper him at times but if he can stay fit Essendon can use him as a pinch hitter in the midfield or even in a forward pocket.
The ruck position look's dodgy but off season ankle surgery to Tom Bellchambers and recruitment of Jonathon Giles can hopefully be a productive combination.
So in the scheme of thing's the Bombers have lost Mark Thompson and Simon Goodwin from the coaching department and number 1 ruckman Paddy Ryder but if the player's can escape suspension from the ASADA investigation then the future could be bright.
