Richmond comfortably accounted for Carlton in the first match of the 2015 season on Thursday night, in front of over 83,000 fans.
The final score was Richmond 15.15.105 to Carlton 11.12.78.
Goal scorer's were Riewoldt 4, Griffiths 3, Lloyd 3, Grigg 2, McIntosh 1, Martin 1, Gordon 1
For Carlton Menzel 2, Rowe 2, Jones 2, Bell 1,Simpson 1, Gibbs 1, Touhy 1, Jaksch 1
The best thing about this victory for Tigers supporters was that 3 of their best Martin, Deledio and Cotchin and little to no influence what so ever. First gamer McIntosh was brilliant run the ground, ex-cat Hunt through the middle and Ellis as well, while up forward Riewoldt and Griffiths were too strong in the air.
Things look good for the Tigers this year I expect them to finish 6-8.
As for Carlton to me the only way is down I don't see how they are going to improve on last year and with nothing new on the horizon I expext them to finish 16th or there about's.
