Fremantle have won their first minor premiership in their 21st season in the AFL, it is their fourth consecutive finals appearance. West Coast made the finals for the first time since 2012 both Hawthorn and Sydney are in the finals for the sixth straight season, Richmond are in their third straight season, Bulldogs first since 2010, Crows first since 2012 and the Kangaroos are playing in their second in a row after finishing eighth last year as well.
2015 ends Geelong's run of 8 consecutive finals dating back to 2007.
Wooden spooner's Carlotn have won only their fourth wooden spoon in 119 years of VFL/AFL.
