In recent times Grand Finals haven't really been that close but this is going to be 2 trips west in the last 3 weeks gives the Eagles the edge if it comes down to a last quarter grind, being the top 2 scoring teams this year has led most pundits to predict a high scoring affair but history and my guess suggest the opposite a score of 80 odd could be enough to win.
Both defenses could be considered under sized the Eagles have Schofield and McGovern who are both around 195cm but their other defenders are under 190cm but have been incredible. Sheppard, Wellingham, Hurn and Ellis have played out of their skins and have been able to play a zoning type defense because of the ability of the Eagle onballers and fowards ability to put pressure on the opposition going forward.
My gut tells me the Eagles should win based on rest and not much recent travel but I'm backing the Hawks by 2 points.
