I went out on a limb picking the Suns in my tipping and it paid off with them winning 90-77. Looking at the Saints to me they look aged, stale and in reverse where as for the Suns the only way is up.
After losing the first 17 games last year and Guy McKenna treading on extremely thin ice they have actually now won 3 in a row at Metricon Stadium, the last 2 games they played their last year and now this one.
This was a sick game, but cometh the hour cometh the man Gary Ablett 30+ possessions 4 goals including 3 in the last quarter when it was all on the line, this guy is INCREDIBLE.
As for St.Kilda coach Scott Waters it's only his second season so pressure on his tenure should be minimal but with what he's got to work with and this loss stranger thing's have happened, although I'm not sure their is many coaches around who could do much more with this aging unit, mind you it is only Round 1 so let's not write Epitaph's yet.
